Just Be
This is a day to be quiet,
A day to open doors that haven’t been opened in a long time.
Cold, bright, still, this morning,
a new chapter is inviting you.
Just be
As long as you can, resist the impulse to
Brew tea, pick up the paper,
Arrange flowers
Set the table
Worry the details.
Just be
Acknowledge all that you don’t understand
All that needs healing, resolution, letting go.
There is a new spaciousness to the cosmos
It wants you to
Be.
Just be
To rest from efforting into acceptance,
From fear to love.
There is no death in this life
That won’t be transformed
By a gesture you cannot yet imagine.
Just be
As freedom unbinds you.

I am returning to this beautiful poem now as the light begins to fade.
It greeted me this morning and has stayed with me across this glorious Easter Day. Thank you.
Yes. Just Be. Just ‘be still and know that I am God!’
Easter Blessings –
